CLASSES

Classes are a beneficial for both the teacher and the student. In life, we are always learning. I created 3 levels of courses, believing that this helps with the absorption of the techniques and the learning reaches its maximum level. Below is an idea of what will be presented in these classes.

KNIFEMAKING CLASSES

LEVEL 1

All processes of making a knife will be studied: techniques, machines, types of abrasives, style of knives, types of steels, the design of knives and materials. Choice of handle design, construction, assembly, and finishing will also be taught. Conventional heat treatment will be described, but we will work with a state-of-the-art digital kiln. You will also learn sharpening and re-sharpening techniques.
